Don't rush. Read the verse two or three times, letting each word land. Morning is the perfect time to be still before God.
The Bible is living and active. A verse you've read a hundred times can speak something new in the context of your current season of life.
Turn the verse into a personal prayer. If the verse says "His mercies are new every morning," pray: "Lord, thank you for new mercies today. I receive them now."
Memorize the verse or write it on a sticky note. Return to it throughout the day when stress or distraction creeps in.
